You sir, have given me inspiration. The "miracle worker" , to be able to always come in on time and under budget. I know that Scotty was a character; a character that helped shape many people's youth and fantacies. So, in the end, you beat them all to the stars. You inspired us and you are missed. ST TOS/NG helped inspire me, through quotes or scenes; it really made no difference; you are a part of me and thousand of others. I can only hope that I will have such an impact on the world around me. - Bruce, Holland, PA, USA

I have to say sir, you made the best chief engeneer to ever hit Star Trek. Scotty was a miricle worker, and it's fitting that he be put on the best space exploration vehicle that we ever made to date. You were always one of the best charecters.
Scotty had to be the second-to most important player on the Enterprise - he repaired everything, told the Captain when the ship was about to blow, even went on away teams.
So, even in death, he will be on the best technological breackthough in a while. - Daniel, Toronto, Ontario, Canada
