You launched the idea of space travel in the minds of millions of people with the original Star Trek and kept the mission alive with the many shows that followed. You fed and nourished the imagination of children who grew to be today’s engineers of space exploration and travel. Your work will continue on for years and you both will not be forgotten. - Doug M. A launch into history! What adventure are you going to open for us by doing this? Maybe an alien being will find your remains like we find the remains of pharaohs in the pyramids. Will they try to understand and conclude that you must have been very important people to deserve a tribute like this?
I suggest adding a DVD player with all the DVD's of Star Trek next to it. Like kings were remembered in the past, you should go in style as well.
Thank you both for decades of fantasy and dreams. - Daniel Schryvers, Antwerp, Belgium

Thank you Gene and Majel for helping make Star Trek not just a TV show for me, but for the hope of a better future for all. Your vision of a better future in which humanity had put aside violence, greed and destruction for the exploration of the Galaxy. It is a vision I believe will one day become a reality for all humanity. It is only fitting that the both of you end your journey here on Earth and begin the next journey among the Stars. - Jonathan Wong, Singapore, Singapore, Singapore

Star Trek shows us a society in which people rationally approach new problems and circumstances with a sense of reason, ethics and justice. We see a civilization which has fully realized the four freedoms: (1) freedom of speech and expression (2) freedom of religion (3) freedom from want and (4) freedom from fear. The people of the Federation are filled with hope and optimism about their future. This stands in total contrast to much of what we see on television or in our daily lives. Thank you! - Brian S. Ward, Edmonds, Washington, USA
